With the Leo Mittens, function and finesse come together; the classic mitten is brought to life in a modern leo design, where the colorwork not only adds character but also an extra layer of warmth to protect your hands from cold and wind. The mittens are knitted in a luxurious blend of wool and silk mohair, making them soft, fluffy with a slight shine – perfect for keeping your hands warm all winter long.
The mittens are worked in the round from ribbing to tip. The pattern is worked according to the diagram. Waste yarn is used for making the thumb, and the shape of the mittens are created with decreases on each side of the mitten.

Length (incl ribbing): 23 (24,5) 26 cm
Suggested needles: 4 ½ mm and 6 mm double pointed needles or circular needle (if you are using the magic loop technique) (80 cm).
Gauge: 16 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 6 mm needle.

Version 2:
Co. 1 (yellow): 1 strand Peruvian colour 196 (French Vanilla) and 1 strand Tilia colour 196 (French Vanilla)
